Across the Rockford area, individuals spotted a strange cloud. I did not see this or get any pictures, but it is interesting enough that I'll post the link to the story here. Stay tuned!

Earthquake Shakes Oklahoma City
A magnitude 5.6 earthquake has struck Oklahoma City along with other surrounding communities. There have numerous smaller aftershocks. Here is a map of the general area, with recent earthquakes depicted by the squares:
This image will not update as new earthquakes occur. The size of the squares depicts the intensity of the earthquake, and color shows the time. We can see a large square near the middle, with numerous smaller squares surrounding it. This is the big quake and the smaller quakes, respectively. Here is a map depicting where the larger earthquake was felt:
It spreads out far, with people near Milwaukee reporting feeling this one. This is usually the case for areas east of the Rockies. While earthquakes like this don't occur often, the shaking can spread far and wide due to the flat land. The opposite is true in areas west of the Rockies, where earthquakes occur often, but can't spread out as far due to the mountainous landscape. An earthquake of this intensity in this region is extremely unlikely to occur again in the near future (unless this is a foreshock to an even bigger quake), but small aftershocks should continue for a while. Stay tuned!

Terror Attacks around Norway's capital
An extremely dangerous and life-threatening situation has evolved across Norway, where a couple of potentially terror attacks have occurred. There was a bomb blast near government buildings that has killed at least seven people, and an attack on a youth camp on an island near Oslo. Both were near the possible locations of Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, as the attacks were on a government building and he had been scheduled to show up at the youth camp. However, the Prime Minister has been accounted for and was not in either location. Reports say that there may be over 20 people at the youth camp dead, some children. Please stay tuned to your favorite news website for updates and be careful if you are out there.
