THANKSGIVING DAY FORECAST IS OUT!!!!!!!!!
USA Weather has issued a TURKEY WARNING for the ENTIRE COUNTRY
Thanksgiving: Expect large amounts of turkey to be fed to people across the country. Ample amounts of stuffing and mashed potatoes likely, with sweet potatoes and yams also coming in. Expect cranberries and gravy to move in as well. Most turkey between 2 PM and 7 PM. Look out for expanding belt lines. Also be prepared for lots of football.
Friday: Large amounts of turkey still likely, with plenty of leftovers. Mashed potatoes move in around lunchtime, staying until dinner.
Over the weekend: Ample leftovers still likely. Large amounts of football to be expected.
Monday: Leftovers should be moving out by dinnertime Monday. Belt lines at their largest. Still a little bit of football to be expected.
Tuesday: Leftover leftovers clearing away.
Have a happy and delicious Thanksgiving everyone!

Your Thanksgiving Day Forecast!
Here is your Thanksgiving Day Forecast across the country:
It looks like the worst of the weather will be in the West, where rain with mountain snow could ruin festivities. While it may be cloudy early in the Midwest, they should partially burn off by afternoon. If your area is not in any colors, expect generally good conditions. I also put temperatures on the map. Use these very cautiously, as the numbers signify the general temperatures across the surrounding area. An isolated spot nearby could easily be above/below the expected range I've given. That's it! Should be a nice day. Enjoy your Turkey! Stay tuned!

Signs that Thanksgiving will be Warm for the East
Hello folks! It's been a while. I am here with you right now to share that Thanksgiving will be a warm one. The first thing we'll look at is teleconnections. Teleconnections are essentially the positioning of high and low pressure systems and the way that the weather flows around them. Pretty much every teleconnection index is in a favorable state for warmer weather across the eastern USA. It won't be hot, it will just be warmer than average. First let's take a look at the PNA, a good teleconnection to use as it relates almost directly to the warm/cool areas across the country. The PNA will be in the negative phase at Thanksgiving. Negative PNA's provide warmer weather across the eastern US, as a ridge builds in the southeast. Here is a PNA forecast:
I have circled the area that I need you to pay attention to. If we look at this image, we see a very high chance that the PNA will stay negative for Thanksgiving. It looks to go more positive by the end of the month. Both the NAO and the AO are going to be positive, which also promotes warm air across the eastern US. Basically, everything is pointing to warmth. Now let's look at some true model forecasts. The next image I have is the temperature anomalies for Thanksgiving. These will essentially show how above/below normal temperatures will be for Turkey Day:
Pay most attention to the larger image in the top left corner. This is the ensemble mean, which takes all of the different solutions displayed in the smaller images and combines them into one. This particular image shows a lot of warmer air. If you look at the smaller images, you can see that they all show warmer air too. That is all I have for now, stay tuned!
