101th Post!

Due to the expected rather low threat for severe thunderstorms, a severe weather outlook will NOT be issued today.  However, if severe weather strikes, you will still find updates on our Facebook page/blog, just not between 3:30 and 7:30 pm.

Power has returned.

We have lost power for no apparent reason. We have no idea what the restoration time is, but history shows that it could be 5+ hours. Stay tuned.

Vacation Update

We are back!  After a relieving and rather short vacation, we find ourselves sitting back in the headquarters ready to resume posting!  Of course, full posting won't be able to begin until tomorrow.  In the coming days, look out for:

• A VERY PRELIMINARY winter forecast
• A thunderstorm page including SPC outlooks, HPC outlooks, latest USA Weather discussions, etc.
• Resumed Tropicasts and Severe Weather outlooks
• Possibly a tropical weather page?

I am back on the road. This is the starting period of extremely limited losting pt. 2, which will last until Monday.

Vacation Update

In sort of a "vacation from vacation," we are back at our headquarters.  Though a few posts are possible, they will become extremely limited from tomorrow afternoon until Monday.

Vacation

I am going on vacation tomorrow.  Thus, posting will be extremely limited until I get back on Sunday, and may not resume until Monday.  This vacation will give me lots of ideas, so when I get back expect new and improved things.  Also, a preliminary winter forecast may be coming out.  Stay tuned!

Power is still out down here. Thats what you get for living in "derecho alley," especially for rural areas like here. Stay tuned!
