Severe Weather Outlook

All right, let's get started.  Today, the Storm Prediction Center has forecast a slight risk of severe weather for the yellow areas in the image below:

Everyone in the yellow areas should make sure that you and people you know are aware of the severe weather threat, and are ready to listen for watches and warnings and know what to do if one is issued.  One complicating factor is the storms that are already occurring across the farther east slight risk:

These will limit certainty in what is going to happen today.  Finally, I have made my map:
