The long-lived supercell in North Dakota has displayed marked strengthening, going from a weak hailer back to its rather extreme ways, at least on radar. Here is an image, with some annotations I made on it:
It is a classic supercell, an almost textbook type storm. I was stunned to see how much it resembles those images they show you in radar training. There is a small hook echo, an incredible V Notch, and a hail core. Simply awesome. Stay tuned!
