Severe Weather Update

All right, as promised on the Facebook page, I have today's severe weather update.  Here is a map of the Moderate risk:

What we expect is a few storms, including supercells, to develop.  There is a threat for a tornado as this activity progresses.  Afterwards, the threat will shift towards the potential for a widespread and potentially significant damaging wind event to evolve.  This could make itself known as yet another derecho.  I will have limited posting abilities through the evening.  Stay tuned.
