Severe Weather in the Plains

Tropicast: 07/24/2011

Well after an extremely active tropical period for this time of year, it looks like the last of the storms is going to die.  Tropical Storm Dora is now a weak and pathetic little storm.  Right now her tropical storm force winds aren't even touching Baja California, and it is expected to stay like that.  Considering she's now only a 40 mph storm that is not much of a threat to land, we are going to take down Tropical Storm Dora's page shortly.  A quick look at the satellite confirms just how torn apart she is:
We see a little blog with maybe the smallest remnants of a circulation in there.  In the Atlantic ocean, there is an area we're watching that we really aren't watching because of the fact that it only has a ten percent chance of development.  That's all I have for now, stay tuned!
