Today is another slight risk day by the SPC:
As usual, people in the yellow zone should make sure that they and people around them are aware of the fact that they are at risk for severe weather, including the potential for widespread damaging winds and severe hail. They should make sure that they have sure that they have an accurate source for receiving watches and warnings as they are issued, and that they know what to do if one is put out. It looks like some instability will develop, and some shear will allow storms to become severe. I will have my own map up later today, so stay tuned.
