Something I Strongly Recommend People to Sign

The economy has been tough lately, and the government is planning to do some budget cuts on the National Weather Service.  This will eventually affect the ability of the NWS to research new things, and provide good forecasts.  Think of the Joplin tornado.  It killed at least 160 people.  Now imagine if there hadn't been any NWS guidance to alert the public of this tornado.  The death toll would be much higher, I will tell you that.  Please sign this petition to try to stop this movement:
