Tropicast: 07/20/2011

Hello all!  We found a very interesting map by the NHC for the Atlantic this morning:
It's almost like a tropical duo.  As Bret continues to weaken, a new storm takes his place.  If the storm does develop out inside the red circle, it wouldn't get too strong and would be no threat to land.  A few of the models try to do something with it, but never even allow it to reach tropical storm strength.  Models are now trying to indicate something developing in the Caribbean, so that is another thing to keep an eye on.  Speaking of eyes, I looked at Dora's satellite to find a developing eye:
Dora is definitely strengthening, grabbing hurricane status last night.  With winds to 90 mph, she is poised to become a monstrous storm; that is if she can stay away from land.  Stay tuned!
